It’s Night of Hope Tulsa – Week!! We are now only 4 days away from the big night!!! I can’t believe it’s almost here. Late last week we finished up the last minute program details and let me tell you, it’s going to be quite a show! Music, Lights, Videos, Giveaways, Contests, Resources and even a few surprise all await you come Thursday Night at FBC Broken Arrow. So with that in mind let jump back into the countdown of the  – Top 10 Reasons Why You Can’t Miss Night of Hope Tulsa. But before you start reading, remember, you need to plan on arriving early and parking in front of the worship center. We will have lots of parking attendants on hand, but just so you know, the main entrance to the event is through the doors underneath the worship center sign…

Reason #3 – Night of Hope Tulsa is for EVERYONE!!

As the big day gets closer and closer, I’ve been peppered with questions  about who exactly should attend Night of Hope Tulsa. So much so that I feel like I need to clarify, this event is for EVERYONE. If you’ve been affected, touched or impacted by addiction in anyway YOU should definitely be there. But if you haven’t been that doesn’t exclude you from being invited, having a good time or learning a lot from attending. Our staff and volunteers have purposely created this night to appeal to all people. Our battle cry has been, lets be “all things to all people so that we might help one!” So please don’t feel like you can’t attend because you’ve never been addicted. That is 100% not the case. The fact is addiction affects people in a variety of different ways. Especially those who are in direct relationships with someone actively using or abusing, so don’t let anything stop you from attending this exciting and inspiring night.

“Night of Hope isn’t just geared toward addicts. It’s also a place for those who are stuck between a rock and a heartache with those they love that struggle with addiction. I’ve seen family members struggle with alcohol addiction, drug addiction, gambling addiction etc. I’ve been that family member that stays up at night praying, distracted during the day, wondering if they were going to make it through the day without ending up in jail or dead. I’ve been the woman that had to act outside of her emotions to make the best decisions for her family. I cannot put into words what this does to a family member, wife, sister, husband, dad,  mother, cousin, aunt or uncle.
The living nightmare is unexplainable. And MOST of the time we feel like our hands are tied. We can’t go to anyone, we’re STUCK. We don’t know where to take those who are ready to relinquish their addiction, and we don’t know what QUALITY facilities there are out there. I’ve had all emotions swirling around in my head. Scared, angry, confident, peace…. it’s insane. Do you stay? Do you go? Do you…. should you….. Here’s the thing, Night Of Hope provides ALL of this for you. Most of all, it provides HOPE. More than anything we live in a nation that needs HOPE. From anorexia, drug addiction, alcoholism, to pills and pornography. There’s a hope, it pulled me through.
And it will you too.
