Welcome to the new and improved LanceLang.com! We are so excited you chose to stop by and check it all out.
We’ve worked really hard over the past few months to create something that we believe embodies a spirit of Hope, Grace and Second Chances. With that in mind, we hope that you’ll give us some grace as work out all the kinks. There are bound to be a few issues over the next few weeks as we roll out the entire new site in phases.
Today you’ll see the core of what we’ve built; the blog roll, a speaking page (that has several new clips of me speaking), an upcoming event list and a few other things. Including my favorite addition, the tweetable quotes at the bottom of the homepage, definitely go check those out. Like I said, the full site will be rolled out over the next month or so and we’ve got some great ideas in the works. Soon there will be a store where you can pick up my books, t-shirts and other resources, along with a text messaging platform we are working on for anyone struggling with addiction, depression or self-harm. But as with anything humans touch, we’re bound to make some mistakes along the way, so if you see something that’s not quite working properly, please let us know.

Some folks have asked me why I decided to change the site and there are several reasons. But primarily I felt like the old site was slightly limiting and didn’t convey everything I wanted it to. When my book came out last April my life completely changed. Before that the blog was exactly what I wanted it to be, but today with all that God is allowing me to do I needed something that portrayed everything that I am doing. Not for my glory, but to help other people more and to give God more glory. That’s really what it’s all about it. On top of that, I have strong desire to enable other people to begin to share their story and this new site will help facilitate that better than the old one. (By the way, if you feel the call to share your story either written or on video let me know, we’re starting to schedule videos shoots next month!)
I’d like to thank Micah from Upward Media for all the help and patience the last few months. The site looks great! Well done. You’ve gone above and beyond and I’m very thankful God has placed you in my life.
Like I said, I’ve got tons of ideas for the future of this site. Next week you’ll see the first of those ideas come to fruition as we announce the biggest news yet! I can’t wait to tell the world what we’ve been working on for so long! It’s gonna be life-changing for so many people. So check back next Friday to see what I’m talking about.
